Ja Morant has been at the center of attention over the past few weeks. Almost all NBA fans know what is going on with the Memphis Grizzlies star. His behavior and antics outside the court seem to have jeopardized his young and illustrious NBA career.
Morant hit a 17-year-old boy during a basketball game outside his house. He then allegedly brought a gun to the scene and threatened the boy. Soon the families got involved and the boy, whose identity has been hidden, apparently tried to sue Ja.

Ja Morant is officially only suspended for 2 games as the NBA investigates the incident
The Grizzlies organization realized that the situation was getting out of hand and took action even before the league officially intervened. They decided to suspend Morant for two games as he takes time away from his team. One of those games is already over as the Grizzlies played and ended up losing to the Los Angeles Lakers.
The NBA is still planning to officially investigate Ja’s recent activities. He made matters much worse for himself by flashing a gun on an Instagram live stream for millions of followers across the world to see. Just as we have seen with Kyrie Irving, the league does not take too kindly to influential players behaving in a reckless manner.
Since Ja did just that, his future in the NBA might be at stake. The league is trying to investigate how he came to possess the gun as the live stream was shot after a road game against the Denver Nuggets. It is still unclear what findings have been made as we still await an official statement.
However, the worst-case scenario certainly looks grim for Ja. If he carried the gun all the way from Memphis and had it with him through airport security, it becomes a question of the safety of his fellow teammates as well. After all, who would want to annoy somebody who is carrying a gun?
In any case, if it turns out that Morant did just that, it is also possible he carried it into the stadium and potentially anywhere else that he deemed necessary. If he has done all of this, it is quite possible that Morant is suspended for the entire season or even longer.
