Both players have a lot of respect for each other, and Novak confessed that the two even text quite frequently. “We never got a chance to meet in person, but it was really an honor and a privilege to hear him speak nicely about me,” he said about Virat.
Djokovic and Virat have been each other’s biggest supporters and have publicly lauded each other for their achievements. Novak even congratulated Virat when he scored his 50th century at the World Cup last year.

The Serb recently swapped his racket for a cricket bat in Melbourne. It was for a charity event, and another cricket icon, Steve Smith, got to show Novak the ropes of the game.
