Former UFC lightweight and welterweight fighter Nate Diaz is causing a massive uproar in the celebrity boxing scene. Diaz recently attended The Misfits 6 boxing event which was held in New Orleans on April 21, 2023. In the event, Daiz’s teammate Chris Avila took on Paul Bamba. Although Avila won the fight via unanimous decision, it was Nate Diaz who walked away with all the headlines as usual.
During the event, Paul threw water bottles at the former American football player Chase DeMoor. Apparently, Chase was trash-talking Chris Avila while Diaz was in the same vicinity. As the UFC and MMA fans know, Diaz is an extremely loyal guy and he always protects his teammates at any cost. Hence, he retaliated by throwing water bottles. Although Diaz was removed from the building, he did not stop causing mayhem outside the arena either.

In a recently surfaced video, Nate Diaz and his team seemingly got into an altercation with a certain group of people. Amongst them, was the Logan Paul lookalike Rodney Petersen. Although it is not confirmed whether he was the person or not, Nate Diaz seemingly choked out someone who resembled the Logan Paul lookalike. Nate seemingly put him into a guillotine choke and put him to sleep.
Fans slam Nate Diaz for choking out the Logan Paul lookalike
Nate Diaz is no stranger to confrontations. From his altercation with Conor McGregor to reportedly having a part to play in the UFC 279 pre-fight press conference brawl, Diaz is notorious for finding himself in such tense situations. He even had a confrontation with Jake Paul’s team before The Problem Child’s fight against Anderson Silva. Afterward, Paul called him out for a fight.
Although Jake is not an elite professional boxer, he is a trained fighter. However, the Logan Paul lookalike, Rodney Petersen, does not have any background in combat sports. Hence, he stood no chance against Diaz and seemingly had no interest in squaring up against the former UFC title contender. Petersen is a TikTok sensation with 212k+ followers and almost 7 million likes. Hence, the fans did not appreciate Nate targeting the social media influencer.
