Morant received his first signature shoe lineup just before the 2023 NBA All-Star weekend. However, fans can buy them next month, when they go out on sale.
As for Nike, it’s been tough going as they had to part ways with the NBA star Kyrie Irving. They fired their star athlete after he was found spreading Anti-semitic content on Twitter. However, it cost Kyrie millions, after Nike cut ties with the star guard. Nonetheless, Nike looked no further than Grizzlies guard, Ja Morant. However, with the release of the upcoming shoe fans have noticed some similarities in the sneakers for Morant.
Nike has been designing and manufacturing shoes for a long time and came out with iconic signature shoes. However, with the upcoming release of Ja 1, fans have noticed something peculiar with them. Ja 1 looks a lot like Kyrie 2 which were Kyrie’s signature shoes during his days with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Nike Ja 1 shares similarities with a shoe designed 8 years ago, and released in 2015 for Kyrie Irving. It looks as if Nike is running out of ideas at the moment for signature shoes for their athletes. It may be a huge talk among the sneaker community. Nike Ja 1 ‘Mismatch’ Release date
The Nike Ja 1s are set to be released next month on April 1, 2023. There will be close to 6 models that the American shoe brand has decided to release. The first models to be out on sale will be Nike Ja ‘Day One’ and will be available for an estimated price of $110. As for Nike Ja 1 ‘Mismatch’ they are expected to be released by Nike through the website and select retailers in May for $110 a pair.

The cheapest models are Nike Ja 1 ‘White Sundial’ which will be available for just $90. However, the costliest model in the lineup will be Nike Ja 1 ‘Midnight’ which will cost a whopping $400 for a pair. The price tag of the basketball shoes left the NBA fans speechless with how much it is going to cost. It is sure to burn a hole in one’s pocket if one decides to go for the ‘Midnight’ edition.
