UFC 300 fight week is almost upon us and the hype surrounding the event is slowly starting to build. Among the host of unmissable fights is Max Holloway fighting for the BMF title. As such, ahead of the epic showdown, the fighter reveals who he wants to see present the title this time around.
For those unaware, one of the first official UFC 300 announcements was that of Max Holloway making the jump up to lightweight to challenge Justin Gaethje for the BMF title. Since its reintroduction last year, Gaethje had laid claim to the title, dispatching Dustin Poirier with a vicious head kick in order to do so.

Now, Holloway steps up to the task, for what will be his second outing at lightweight. However, having learned his lesson in the past, the Hawaiian fighter has worked on properly transitioning into a lightweight. As such, Max Holloway is showing no shortage of confidence ahead of the fight, and despite what fans have said, believes that he can truly make a statement.
Mark Coleman reveals that he is set to be in attendance for UFC 300
Recently, the world was made aware of Mark Coleman and the terrible housefire that he managed to save his mother and father from. A UFC legend and Hall of Famer, the 59-year-old showed tremendous courage and bravery when his childhood home near Toledo, Ohio, caught fire. Due to severe smoke inhalation, Coleman was then airlifted to a hospital.
Since then, a lot of support poured in for ‘The Hammer’, who has rapidly made his recovery to full health. As such, the UFC, as an homage to the legend has seemingly invited him and his family to be a part of UFC 300 later this month. Taking to Instagram, Coleman expressed his delight and gratitude for the opportunity:

“I’m so excited today. The UFC is bringing me in giving me and my daughters tickets to the biggest show ever UFC 300 in Las Vegas so stoked let’s go the BMF belt that’s the one I’m excited about The main event is huge as well. The whole card is sick. See you there.”
Notably, Coleman has been a regular at UFC events, Fan Meets, Hall of Fame ceremonies, and also in the corner of Matt Brown, during the UFC’s trip to North Carolina last year.
Max Holloway wants Mark Coleman to present the BMF title at UFC 300
Coming into fight week, Max Holloway has made his demands known. Seeing that the UFC and Venum in particular made pink shorts for Sean O’Malley at UFC 299, Holloway wants his own floral printed shorts for UFC 300. Notably, Brendan Allen is also set to get custom purple shorts for UFC Vegas 90 just as Bryce Mitchell has gotten custom camo shorts in the past.
However, the list of demands does not stop there as in a recent interview with MMA Junkie, ‘Blessed’ revealed who he would like to see present the BMF title at UFC 300. Speaking to Mike Bohn, Max Holloway said:
“The only correct answer is Mark Coleman…the guy’s a G. That’s a real-life BMF. That would be sick if he (wrapped the belt around the winner at UFC 300). It would be an honor to get him to do it.”
In the past, we’ve seen Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson present the inaugural title at UFC 244. Then, following the reintroduction of the title at UFC 291, the original title holder Jorge Masvidal did the honors by presenting the title to Justin Gaethje. Now, with word of Mark Coleman being called for by Max Holloway to present the title, the UFC has already started rolling the ball in the right direction.
