Many believe this is just an attention-grabbing post from the 50-year-old who wants to see the UFC in trouble after he lost his lawsuit against the promotion. However, the fact that he is calling out the UFC CEO and asking him to reveal the news also makes it seem like the former UFC fighter knows something the world does not.
Mark Hunt lost his lawsuit against UFC as he could not provide sufficient evidence
Mark Hunt fought Brock Lesnar at UFC 200 and lost. Following the event, Lesnar tested positive for an illegal substance twice and the fight result was turned into a No Contest (NC).
Hunt initiated a lawsuit against the UFC in 2016 claiming that the promotion and Dana White knew about Lesnar’s consumption of Performance Enhancing Drugs (PEDs). ‘Super Samoan’ levied a series of allegations including battery and fraud.

The claims were dismissed but an appeals court reversed the dismissal of battery, fraud, and conspiracy in 2021. In 2023, a Federal Judge in Nevada again dismissed these resurrected claims. Reports suggest that U.S. District Judge Jennifer A. Dorsey concluded that Hunt could not provide substantial evidence for his claims against the UFC and Dana White.

Initially, reports suggest that UFC was planning to schedule an event for March in Saudi Arabia. However, the KSA authorities were not pleased with the fight card that was being set up for the event. Recently, White took to his social media to announce that UFC will hold a Fight Night in Saudi Arabia on June 22, 2024.
Khamzat Chimaev will take on Robert Whittaker in the main event of the Fight Night in the KSA. Sergei Pavlovich, Johnny Walker, and Sharabutdin Magomedov will also be involved in the card. UFC follows in the footsteps of WWE after merging with the pro-wrestling promotion a few months ago. WWE has held several PPVs in Saudi Arabia over the last few years.
