Chael Sonnen spotted something many must have missed out on at UFC Vegas 84. A man was spotted in the background during the main event of the night. Sonnen found the image and posted it on Instagram. He asked his followers to identify the man who seemed to be bald and wore sunglasses.
The UFC veteran posted the image with the caption, “Who is this guy? First to identify this handsome man of mystery gets a Bad Guy Inc tee.”

UFC Vegas 84 was the first UFC event of 2024. The event took place on January 13, 2024, at the UFC Apex facility, in Enterprise, Nevada. Magomed Ankalaev and Johnny Walker headlined the event with some strong fights on the card.
In the main card, heavyweight Waldo Cortes-Acosta defeated Andrei Arlovski via unanimous decision. In the middleweight bout, Brunno Ferreira defeated Phil Hawes via KO. Bantamweight Mario Bautista defeated Ricky Simón via unanimous decision. In the co-main event of the night, lightweight Jim Miller defeated Gabriel Benítez.
The main event was the second fight between former UFC light heavyweight Championship challenger Ankalaev and Walker. The fighters met at UFC 294 a few months ago when the fight ended in a no contest. Ankalaev landed an illegal knee which rendered the Brazilian unable to continue.

At UFC Vegas 84, Ankalaev legally found the result amidst the appearance of the mystery man. In Sonnen’s post on Instagram, the man was spotted at around the two-minute mark in the first round. Around a similar time in the second round, the Russian fighter pulled off a KO. Ankalaev earned Performance of the Night along with Jim Miller, Brunno Ferreira, and Marcus McGhee.

Many fans commented on Sonnen’s post about the mystery man at UFC Vegas 84. There were over 1550 comments on the post in seven hours. Many fans guessed the bald man to be former American MMA fighter Tito Ortiz.
On the other hand, many fans guessed it to be American runner David Goggins. A lot of fans hilariously commented the name of DB Cooper as well. DB Cooper is “one of the great unsolved mysteries in FBI”.
