NBA 2K24 is just days away from being released. This is the most anticipated game release of the 2K franchise as several fans and streamers have been praising the latest installment. Over the last few months, the franchise has been teasing various parts and updates of the game. Needless to say, this installment might be worth the hype.
Since the beginning of August, NBA 2K24 has been revealing various segments of the gameplay. There are a bunch of brand new segments such as ProPlay and Mamba Moments. They’ve also made a couple of updates to MyCareer and MyTeam as well. For example, the Auction House no longer exists, and several badges will also be replaced with new ones.
One of the biggest goals that the franchise is trying to achieve with NBA 2K24 make the game feel relatively real. They have certainly upgraded the textures and overall graphics of the game based on we’ve seen on X. 2K24 will also have a set of new environments on MyNeighborhood. Crossplay will be the biggest introduction this time as several gamers have urged video game franchises to add this feature.

After all that has been said and done, NBA 2K24 has finally entered its release week. Fans have been going bonkers for the game’s release which is due on September 8, 2023. As a final gift to the NBA 2K community, the franchise decided to drop the entire tracklist of the game. And NBA 2K24 definitely has a tracklist worth listening to without playing the game. It will feature over 50+ artists including Lil Wayne, Ice Spice, Kevin Gates, Lil Uzi Vert, Louis Tomlinson as well as Quavo & Takeoff.

NBA 2K is famous for supporting the Hip Hop community. And in celebration of Hip Hop’s 50th Anniversary, the game will pay homage to several legends of the genre as well. Jay-Z, J. Cole, Armani White, Travis Scott, and G Warren are other artists that will be featured. The genre of Hip Hop has always had some connection to basketball, and numerous NBA players also have booming rap careers.
The NBA 2K24 tracklist will also feature other music legends and Grammy award-winning stars. What’s interesting is that the tracklist will be updated every Friday. This will allow fans to experience a new set of tracks every week in addition to the songs featured on the initial tracklist.
