Seattle Seahawks star safety Jamal Adams to make his NFL return in the game against the New York Giants
This NFL season has already seen injuries of many star players including Aaron Rodgers and Nick Chubb. However, the league is finally ready to witness a long-awaited return. Seahawks’ safety Jamal Adams, who was out with injury is all prepared to make his comeback in the game against the Giants.
The 27-year-old player suffered a serious knee injury during the team’s season opener last season. The moment the NFL star sustained the injury, he understood that he’d be out for long. Adams, who began his career with the Jets in 2107, didn’t reportedly want to leave the field.
“I didn’t want to get carted off… I was kind of like in denial, like why did it happen? How did it happen?… I just wanted the game to continue,” he said.
The 3-time Pro Bowl even mentioned that he considered retiring after seeing his MRI report. Born in October 1995, the safety reportedly didn’t even know whether he’d be able to return to the league or not. However, here he is now, ready to make a comeback at the same stadium where he made his NFL debut.
With Adams back, the Seattle Seahawks will enter the field with even more confidence. The Giants must deliver an exceptional performance to defeat the Seahawks. However, only time will tell which NFL team ends up victorious in the Monday night game.
