NFL Player Chuck Clark Is Not Dead! “RIP Chuck” Goes Viral on Social Media, Fan Tweet Fools the Internet

Recently, a well-known Baltimore Ravens fan page posted a tweet on their social media handle, the one tweet that made the whole internet hysterical. The tweet was for paying respects to a fan of the franchise. The guy was named Chuck, whom the whole internet assumed to be Chuck Clark, who was a player for the Ravens. The internet took the tweet to heart and it started taking a huge toll on the internet. 

Recently, the Twitter handle of the Ravens fan page posted a tweet giving their respects to Chuck. The Internet crowd, relying on incomplete information and acting out of shock and sadness, started tweeting about it more and more, making it go viral.

The fan page, in their tweet, addressed mental health as the reason for Chuck’s suicide, as well as suicides in general. And as the caricature featured in the tweet resembled the NFL player Chuck Clark, fans from around the globe assumed it to be him.

Is the NFL player Chuck Clark really dead?

As per reports, NFL player Chuck Clark is perfectly fine. The person, who is no more, was a fan of the Baltimore Ravens named Chuck. On Saturday afternoon, a Twitter handle that resembled the NFL player Chuck posted a tweet that stated “Sorry gang. I hope the Ravens do well but this will be my last tweet from me. Thanks for all the debates and laughs lol.”

Reportedly, the deceased person (Chuck) was a prominent fan of the NFL franchise. As a reaction, the fans as well as people across the globe, started sharing their heartfelt condolences. According to a story posted by a close friend of the fan, he reportedly shot himself. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he could not be saved.

The fan was a barber by profession and maintained a role of a single father in his personal life in recent times. According to his recent posts, the guy seemed pretty contended with the materials in his life and life in general as well.

Who is NFL player Chuck Clark?

Chuck Clark is an American football strong safety. Recently, Chuck was signed by the NFL franchise, The New York Jets. The player worked with the Baltimore Ravens from 2017 to 2022. The 28-year-old has already had a 7-year career in the NFL and has been going strong.

Clark also holds a record of making a total of 384 tackles throughout his career. He had the highest number of tackles in the year 2022 with Baltimore Ravens and registered a total of 101 tackles. Among them, he had 61 solo tackles and made 40 assisted tackles.
