King James’ feet have been taking an immense physical toll for more than two decades
Basketball is a sport where players put an incredible amount of pressure on their lower extremities. After all, wearing tightly worn shoes while running and constantly changing directions cannot be too good for the circulation of blood in the feet. Not to mention having one’s toes stepped on or rolling an ankle on a consistent basis.
King James has been in the league for 21 seasons right now and is still considered by many to be one of the most explosive athletes and an unstoppable force when running at the rim to score. Although he is supposed to be on the backend of his career, LeBron has continued to put an immense physical toll on his feet and likely started this process going all the way back to his middle school and high school days.
Therefore, it really isn’t a surprise to observe the current condition of his feet. Although LeBron’s feet look far from perfect when compared to a model or celebrity, it is important for fans to remember that his feet have taken more impact than their brains could likely imagine. Therefore, them not appearing aesthetic at this point in his career is the least that one should expect after taking all these factors into consideration.
