Baltimore Ravens’ Chuck Clark recently sent the NFL world into a frenzy, albeit unknowingly. The 28-year-old shocked his entire fanbase after rumors of him allegedly dying by suicide surfaced online very recently. The Baltimore Ravens selected Chuck in the sixth round as the 186th overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft.
Having played college football at Virginia Tech, Chuck Charles Edward Clark Jr. happened to be one of the first four players from the university to be drafted into the NFL. However, a recent rumor has seemingly made it appear that the Philadelphia native took his own life.
A fan page on Twitter that goes by the handle of LiveRavenNation posted news about the untimely demise of the American football player. The post insinuated that Chuck Clark was suffering from mental health, which led him to take his own life.
An icon.
RIP Chuck.
Mental health is real. Prayers for his family tonight. pic.twitter.com/pAMrCxrofK

The caption reads, “An icon. RIP Chuck. Mental health is real. Prayers for his family tonight.” As wild as the sports fans seem to be, many took to Twitter to put salt on the injury. Rather than confirming the 28-year-old’s alleged suicide, fans and supporters took to social media to pour in their prayers.
Clark’s family or loved ones haven’t released an obituary, and nor did any major news outlets confirm the news. But his death has been trending on social media for quite some time now. What fed the confusion, even more, is when a verified Twitter user with the same name as the NFL player seemingly made a “last tweet.”
Sorry gang. I hope the Ravens do well but this will be my last tweet from me. Thanks for all the debates and laughs lol

The Twitter account, PurpleReignEra, wrote – “Sorry gang. I hope the Ravens do well but this will be my last tweet from me. Thanks for all the debates and laughs lol” Since then, many verified users have paid tributes to Clark. However, it turns out, it happens to be a fan page of the Baltimore Ravens’ star. Clark Jr.’s official Twitter goes by the handle – ChuckC36.
Did NFL player Chuck Clark die by suicide?
Thankfully for the fans of the multi-millionaire Ravens backup, Chuck Clark Jr. is alive and kicking. The 28-year-old seems to be in perfect health, despite his alleged death speculation. However, the plot twist turns out that a man who happened to share the same first name as the NFL star has allegedly died by suicide.
A Baltimore influencer named Chuck, whose Instagram handle goes by ‘hotboychuckie’ shared a series of stories. Chuck, just hours before allegedly taking his own life, talked about his friends, family, and life. Followed by this, he said, “Anyways this my last post fr. And don’t be sad. I had fun life like nah fr lol I kno I lived a great life. Bye, y’all.”
In a similar fashion, the man also shared some clips which insinuated that someone had allegedly hurt him. Following his death news, NFL fans and random internet citizens have started pouring their tributes online on his recent posts. Since he hailed out of Baltimore, Chuck made the now-false reports to presume he was a Ravens fan.

Going by his Instagram posts, Chuck seemed to enjoy a fairly good life, sharing pictures alongside expensive cars and places. Furthermore, it appears that Chuck, a barber by profession, has remained a single father in recent times. Most of his posts seem dedicated to his two young sons named Cobey and Onyx.
As for the American football player himself, on March 15 of this year, Clark was traded to the New York Jets in exchange for a 2024 7th-round pick.
