WrestleMania 40 was an overall entertaining Premium Live Event, and it presented several splendid matches to the fans. Meanwhile, the main event of the night featured the highly anticipated tag team match between Roman Reigns and The Rock vs. Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, which was outstanding.
However, there’s something that occurred prior to the main event and caught the attention of the fans. Before the beginning of the tag team match, Pat McAfee revealed that Roman Reigns was still battling leukemia. In that regard, it is worth mentioning that Reigns previously went on a hiatus in October 2018 due to leukemia.
However, he later made his return to the Stamford-based promotion and stated that he was in remission. Meanwhile, after Pat McAfee’s revelation, Reigns opened up on the matter. He appeared during the WrestleMania 40 press conference.

During that, Roman Reigns said that he had been on “oral chemotherapy.” He added, “It’s a medication that I’m going to have to remain on my entire life most likely. It’s just a part of my personal battle. It doesn’t affect me, thank God, I’m still able to perform.”
The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion further reassured fans that he’s good and that he’s still in remission. Thus, it seems The Tribal Chief has been fighting his personal battles while also fighting inside the squared circle; no wonder he is the face of the largest wrestling promotion in the world.
