The Sacramento Kings vs Golden State Warriors matchup will be a very interesting series to witness. For several years, the Kings of the Californian state suffered without making it to the playoffs. But to everyone’s surprise, they wound up having one of the best records in the Western Conference and the top ten in the league itself. They even managed to skid past the Phoenix Suns, last year’s holder of the best record in the NBA.
The Golden State Warriors had a very messy start to their season as they failed to deliver well. The defending champions fell short of playoff contention while Stephen Curry was injured. But Klay Thompson and the remaining members of the team somehow managed to pull off a handful of victories to grab the sixth seed. Now with Curry back in action, the team will certainly become a threat in the West. The Warriors are known for pulling off major breakthroughs.
The Sacramento Kings vs Golden State Warriors will be especially interesting due to the fact that both teams are polar opposites of each other. The Kings have a fairly new roster this season and the addition of Domantas Sabonis worked out very well. However, the Kings lack playoff experience and the coaching staff have not spent too much time in such a situation. The Warriors, on the other hand, have been together for over a decade now, winning four titles along the way.
The Sacramento Kings look forward to dethroning the Golden State Warriors in the Pacific division
The Sacramento Kings are aware of how lethal the Warriors’ core is. Out of the four regular season games played against each other, the Dubs have taken three in total. The Warriors have averaged higher defensive statistics against the Kings with 44.6 rebounds, 3.9 blocks, and 7.1 steals. Sacramento emerged as the better offensive team, averaging 120.7 points per game. However, the Warriors were not too far off.

Stephen Curry was the best player during their regular season series. He once scored 47 points against the Kings earlier during the season. Curry was also the best shooter, averaging 49.3% from the field, 91.4% from the free throw line, and 42.7% from three.
Klay led the Dubs offensively, while Draymond Green and Kevon Looney worked the defensive side of things. While the Warriors’ core looked after its winning record, the Kings rely on every player on their roster for the most part. De’Aaron Fox led them in points, averaging 25 per piece, and he also had the highest steals.
Sabonis worked defense, averaging 12.3 rebounds per game along with Keegan Murray’s 0.5 blocks against the Dubs. Sabonis and Murray also have the best shooting percentages on the roster from within and beyond the three-point line.
Regardless of the stats, the Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors will probably remain the most interesting matchup. Obviously, with their record against the Kings and the experience they have in such a situation, it is expected that GSW takes it home with five to six games.
