- Amid everything Rowdy said, Becky Lynch has hit back at her in a recent interview.
Ronda Rousey has recently grabbed the attention of the WWE Universe, as she made some controversial remarks about the Triple H-led promotion. Amid the UFC star’s comments against the professional wrestling organization, Becky Lynch has hit back at Rowdy in an interview.
This happened during Becky’s recent appearance on the March 27 episode of The MMA Hour. She appeared on Ariel Helwani’s show to promote her new autobiographical book, “Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl.” But in the conversation, she also talked about Rousey’s comments about her journey.
While doing so, the 37-year-old star stated that she wasn’t surprised by how Rowdy described her experience as a worker in the Stamford-based promotion. Speaking about Ronda’s in-ring abilities, she suggested that The Baddest Woman on the Planet to focus on her craft rather than talking about her WWE experiences.

Talking about Ronda Rousey’s limitations as a pro wrestler, The Man said, “I mean this with respect but she couldn’t wrestle. Like what we do isn’t something where you can just have one good match and, ‘Okay, yeah, I’m off to the races.’ It’s a craft, and you have to learn your craft, and you you have to be diligent about learning your craft.” (Via: Cageside Seats)
In addition to this, Becky also talked about how the UFC star’s first ever match in the company was a well-rehearsed one, and that’s why she looked great in it. But she added that WWE was probably mishandling Rowdy amid her MMA success, and the comments by The Man have taken the entire industry by storm.
What exactly did Ronda Rousey say about WWE?
As Becky Lynch took a dig at Rowdy’s in-ring skills, a lot of people have been asking what exactly Ronda Rousey said about WWE and how it led to such a thing. In this regard, it must be noted that The Baddest Woman on the Planet made several serious allegations against the company in her new memoir, ‘Our Fight.’
The memoir is set to present an inside view of the controversies prevalent in the Triple H-led promotion, and Ronda will be releasing it in the first week of April, 2024. But before its release, excerpts from the memoir have been released, and everything that it reveals is massive.
In Rousey’s upcoming memoir, the former Women’s Champion claims that there was a casting couch culture in the Stamford-based promotion. Additionally, she also criticized WWE’s move to have events in Saudi Arabia, as she claims that it puts restrictions on women’s rights. Rowdy also made several comments about Vince McMahon and even made references to the lawsuit against him.

Ronda Rousey stated that she doesn’t intend to ever return to the company and even called the promotion a “shit show.” All these allegations and bad comments about WWE were probably the reason why Becky decided to reply to the UFC veteran, and it’s understandable due to her love for the pro wrestling world.
Is there any sort of real-life hate between Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey?
As Becky Lynch didn’t hesitate to state that Rowdy couldn’t wrestle, fans have been wondering if there’s any sort of real-life hate between Becky and Ronda Rousey. In this regard, it must be noted that back in 2019, there were rumors that there might be heat between these two female stars.
Reports even claimed that Rousey was supposed to lose clean to Lynch, but she wasn’t happy with this idea, and that’s why she lost via a roll-up. The Man even mentioned Ronda’s husband, Travis Browne, in their rivalry, and that’s what made fans sure that they had differences.
But according to Dave Meltzer, the entire heat thing between the two was kayfabe, and it was possibly WWE‘s way of creating a buzz for this feud. All in all, there may not be any hate between the two, but Lynch’s recent comments may lead to some issues between them. Will The Baddest Woman on the Planet hit back at The Man’s statement? We’ll find out all such answers very soon.
