Alongside this, Edge also expressed his excitement about working in a whole set of first-time rivalries in the Jacksonville-based promotion. The veteran shared that he’ll also get to work with some familiar faces he wanted to work with once again in his in-ring career, which might be a reference to Christian Cage.
Copeland made his grand AEW debut by getting involved in the main event segment involving Cage. Thus, it seems they’ll enter in a high-profile feud down the line. Will fans really get to see the real-life friends go one-on-one in Tony Khan’s company? Only the future knows the answer to this question.
