SUMMARY
- After the culmination of WrestleMania 40, WWE is taking "The Bloodline" in a different direction.
- With Roman Reigns absence, "The Bloodline" sees the addition of Tama Tonga to the stable.
WWE fans were looking forward to SmackDown following WrestleMania. With that, it is worth mentioning that Friday Night SmackDown post-WrestleMania 40 didn’t disappoint the fans. Something happened during the episode, which shocked the entire WWE Universe.
With that, it is to be noted that during the latest episode of SmackDown, The Bloodline (Paul Heyman, Solo Sikoa, and Jimmy Uso) made an appearance. After that, Paul Heyman grabbed the mic and talked about the main event of WrestleMania 40, where Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
Following that, The Wiseman began to hype up Roman Reigns. Suddenly, Solo Sikoa interrupted him and asked if winning and losing mattered. He then mentioned that there are consequences to losing. Thereafter, he shifted his focus to Jimmy Uso inside the ring. Jimmy looked confused, and Sikoa went ahead to attack him. However, he changed his mind and hugged Jimmy.

Sikoa then said that Jimmy was his brother and that he loved him. Suddenly, a man appeared wearing a hoodie and attacked Jimmy. With that, the identity of the attacker was revealed to be Tama Tonga, who made his WWE debut with the attack on Uso.
In that regard, it is worth mentioning that Tama Tonga is popular among pro wrestling fans for his time with NJPW. He was a part of the promotion from 2010 to 2024. Also, it is to be noted that Tama is the son of famous pro wrestler Haku. Meanwhile, the 41-year-old wrestler recently joined WWE to spice up The Bloodline saga.
Moving ahead, Solo instructed Tama to pick up Uso, and he repeatedly hit his brother with the Samoan Spike. During this, Heyman tried calling Roman Reigns; however, Sikoa took the phone and stomped it. Thereafter, Tama left the ring and brought a chair. With that, Solo cornered Jimmy and set up the chair on his head. He then performed the running hip attack on Uso.
The turn of events within The Bloodline was absolutely unexpected and surprised the entire WWE Universe. With that, it remains to be seen what lies ahead for the members of the villainous faction in the upcoming days.
The turn of events on SmackDown might eventually lead to Roman Reigns vs. The Rock at WrestleMania 41
The Rock vs. Roman Reigns was all set to take place at WrestleMania 40. However, Cody Rhodes interfered and announced that he would be facing Reigns at the Grandest Stage of Them All instead of Dwayne Johnson. With that, the final outcome of the match saw The American Nightmare end Roman’s 1316-day reign to become the new Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
Also, since then, Roman has been absent from WWE television. Meanwhile, Solo Sikoa and WWE debutant Tama Tonga wreaked havoc in the absence of The Tribal Chief. With that, many fans have been speculating that there’s a possibility that The Rock is behind what happened on the latest episode of SmackDown.
It might very well have happened that Johnson might have brainwashed Solo and added Tonga to The Bloodline. Also, as Heyman was about to call Roman Reigns, Sikoa took the phone and smashed it. This signifies his disrespect towards The Tribal Chief. With that, it remains to be seen if The Great One indeed instructed Sikoa and Tama or not.
It’s very likely that The Rock is behind what happened to Solo Sikoa and Toma Tonga.
This would easily set up Heel Rock vs. Face Roman in the WrestleMania 41 Main Event.

Also, many in the pro wrestling Universe have speculated that Roman Reigns might showcase a face turn since he lost his title to Rhodes. While that has not been confirmed, it can very well be a possibility. If that indeed happens, then Reigns might confront The Rock for causing a rift in The Bloodline.
This might set up a feud between The Rock and Reigns. Finally, fans might get to witness Heel Rock and Face Roman battling each other at WrestleMania 41. Thus, it seems Toma Tonga’s WWE debut changed the future of The Bloodline.
Not only that, his debut acted as a major hint to showcase why Dwayne Johnson might turn his back on Roman, which would ultimately lead to a showdown between the blood relatives. With that, fans will look forward to seeing how the Stamford-based promotion plans to place Tonga in the epic Bloodline storyline.
Will The Rock’s Bloodline differ from Roman Reigns’ Bloodline?
Previously, The Rock showcased a heel turn and joined The Bloodline. With that, The Bloodline consisted of Reigns, Johnson, Jimmy, Solo, and Heyman. Meanwhile, it seems Tama Tonga recently made his WWE debut as a member of The Bloodline. This is because during the segment, Tonga was seen putting the finger up in a typical Bloodline style.
Meanwhile, after the latest turn of events, Jimmy Uso’s fate within The Bloodline remains uncertain. It is difficult to understand if Jimmy is still a part of the faction or not. Also, there might be a possibility that Sikoa just kicked Jimmy out of The Bloodline and added Tama as his replacement.

Again, if it was all planned by The Rock, then Roman Reigns might soon appear on WWE television to confront Johnson, Sikoa, and Tonga. This might lead to a feud, which might ultimately result in Roman’s face turn and, if that happens, then The Rock, Solo, and Tama might form a different Bloodline.
On the other hand, Reigns might form a different Bloodline along with Paul Heyman. However, it remains a mystery who might become a part of Roman’s Bloodline. Also, after the latest attack on Jimmy, he might showcase a face turn as well and might join Reigns’ side of The Bloodline. Also, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, and others might eventually become part of the stable too.
Thus, if WWE is indeed planning a future feud between Face Roman and Heel Rock, then prior to the final showdown, the Stamford-based promotion might present a showdown between Roman’s Bloodline vs. The Rock’s Bloodline. However, only time will tell how the mystery will unfold, and until then, several other speculations will keep coming to the spotlight.
This gonna set up Rock’s Bloodline vs Roman’s Bloodline and next year we get Roman vs Rock. Fucking amazing

Meanwhile, as of writing, both The Rock and Roman Reigns have been away from WWE television. During this, Tama Tonga made his debut and shocked the entire pro wrestling community. Thus, it seems that though Roman has lost his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, the storyline surrounding The Bloodline is still cooking, and it just got all the way more exciting.
