However, the merger has yet to take place and it has been reported that the merger will take place on September 12, 2023. The UFC and WWE will officially merge into a publicly traded company, TKO Group Holdings.
Following the merger, Vince McMahon will no longer have complete control over the Stamford-based promotion. Thus, this week’s episode of WWE RAW will be the final episode of the red brand under the McMahon era.

What will happen on WWE RAW tonight?
Since RAW this week will be a little different from other episodes, several top-notch segments have been scheduled for the show. Many fan-favorite WWE Superstars will make an appearance during the episode.
Rhea Ripley, Cody Rhodes, and Gunther will be present on WWE RAW this week. Previously, Ripley successfully defended the Women’s World Championship against Raquel at Payback 2023. However, the victory came after Dominik Mysterio interfered in the match.
With that, Ripley will once again defend the title against Rodriguez on RAW this week, with the stipulation that Dominik will be banned from ringside during the match. Apart from that, WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes who was previously seen at Payback 2023 will make an appearance.
