The hype around NBA 2K24 is probably never going to subside. It has been getting rave reviews about the recent upgrades made to the gameplay and graphics. It’s a good look for the franchise as it indicates that they are still keeping it relevant for the newer audience as well. However, 2K has also been praised for introducing its concept of basketball video games. Now several other franchises have also adopted similar styles in gameplay.
Recently, a famous video game streamer from YouTube named Trey Riggs shared his opinion on the upcoming 2K release. After having a little sneak peek at the game during the NBA 2K Community Day, he said, “It’s the best 2K I’ve ever played. On god, hands down, it’s not even up for debate. It’s better than 17, it’s better than 16, it’s better than 20, it’s better than 23. It is the best 2K of all time. So if you have not already, pre-order that sh*t. On god, everything about 2K24 is amazing. The game is perfect. Everything about it is perfect.”

His reaction doesn’t seem disingenuous as Riggs is an avid 2K streamer. For fans, his reaction only means that they are headed for something spectacular. While NBA 2K24 does not have an early access period, they are allowing fans to pre-order the game. In turn, fans will be rewarded for their loyalty with unique prizes. A couple of jerseys, rare player cards, and exciting bundles are expected to be given.

NBA 2K24 will be released with a ton of new features and upgrades. For example, Crossplay will be introduced for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S & X users. Other segments such as Mamba Moments and ProPlay will also be introduced in 2K’s latest installment. 2K24 recently announced a series of new upgrades to MyTeam. In this game mode, players will be able to get creative and build their teams to compete against other players online.

However, one particular part of MyTeam known as Auction House will be removed. Auction House was a place where players could buy or sell their cards. It resembled a bidding system more or less. This will be replaced by the Player Market instead.
