In the world of wrestling, the names of Vince McMahon and Tony Khan can be heard quite often. While they receive praise sometimes, they are often seen at the receiving end of criticism. However, this time it seems the wrestling world has drawn a comparison between them.
Recently, the AEW Dynamite Grand Slam 2023 took place. During the episode, Jon Moxley was injured in his fight against Rey Fenix for the AEW International Championship. He was then immediately attended to by the medical staff, and later it was reported that Moxley might have suffered a concussion.
Moving ahead, after Dynamite was over, Tony Khan, Daniel Garcia, and Isiah Kassidy were seen on the ramp. During this time, Garcia did his signature dance, and after a little push, Tony Khan joined him. The AEW CEO was seen showcasing his unique dance moves. However, now it seems that this decision by Khan has brought criticism from all around the world.

Not only did Tony Khan face denunciation, but he was compared to Vince McMahon of WWE. The fans recalled how Vince McMahon left the show and went to the hospital with The Undertaker when he suffered a concussion at WrestleMania 30.
At the ‘Grandest Stage of Them All,’ The Undertaker had a historic match against Brock Lesnar. After the match, Taker was immediately transported to a medical center. McMahon reportedly went in an ambulance with The Undertaker. After diagnosis, he was reported to have suffered a severe concussion. However, after an overnight observation, he was released the next day.

That is indeed a great job done by McMahon. However, the wrestling community seems to be dissatisfied with how Khan reacted. Meanwhile, it is to be noted that Moxley is reportedly fine. Now it is to be seen if the AEW boss will have anything to say regarding the matter.
Fans draw comparisons between Tony Khan and Vince McMahon
The wrestling community seems to have gotten divided while drawing comparisons between two wrestling kingpins. A social media account on ‘X’ posted the fact of Tony Khan dancing after Moxley’s concussion while Vince McMahon went to the hospital in Taker’s case. Many fans gathered in the comments section to express their views.
Several fans reacted to the post in different ways. The majority of them found fault with Tony Khan’s behavior. One fan commented, “That’s the difference between a great boss and the other not”.

No wonder AEW sucks big time. The matches are horrible and no build up.

While many fans went on to attack Tony Khan with their words, many of them tried to defend the AEW Boss. One fan said, “TK is a nice guy. But he really needs to look out for his wrestlers more, as they don’t seem to care for their own wellbeing”.
However, it isn’t about who is better, Khan or McMahon; it is about the safety of the wrestlers. Moreover, The Undertaker is fine, and Moxley has been reported to be okay as well. It is to be seen what the WWE and AEW bosses have planned for their respective promotions moving ahead. Meanwhile, we wish Jon Moxley a speedy recovery.
