Ryan Hall is facing Darrick Minner at UFC 269 early prelims in a featherweight bout. Both fighters will get into the octagon on 12 December at T-Mobile Arena.
Hall had a disappointing return in the promotion. He lost his comeback fight against Ilia Topuria in Round one KO. However, his elite ground game is secret to none. So, he will be backing on his grappling game this weekend to secure a win.
Darrick Minner debuted last year against Grant Dawson. After a tough loss against him, he bounced back with two straight wins. But, his loss against Erkins was again a setback for the fighter. A win against Ryan can certainly make him confident going forward.

UFC 269 Early Prelims: Ryan Hall vs Darrick Minner Fight Breakdown and Prediction
Ryan Hall has an unorthodox striking style which might be troubling for some. But, Hall’s prime game is taking down his opponents. So, Minner might find a way out with his volume strikes and grappling.
Interestingly, when it comes to grappling even though Minner is decent, Ryan does have the upper hand. Moreover, the way Minner gassed out after dominating Erkins raises questions about his cardio. So, if Ryan pulls off his flamboyant sidekicks, spinning kicks and leg kicks into action Minner will have to go for grappling and ground which might not favor him.
Being a submission specialist, going for the ground game against Ryan will only lead to a risk of submission loss for Minner. Darrick’s best way out here is to wear Ryan out, staying close to him with clinching and striking aiming for a decision win.
But, even that seems far-fetched considering his issues with cardio. Hence, if Halls gets his takedown opportunity he will make sure to get a submission win over Darrick.
