At last, we approach the final countdown for the most hyped-up fight card of the year! UFC 285 promises to be one for the ages and fans cannot contain their excitement.
The main event of the night will be a heavyweight title showdown between Jon Jones and former interim champ, Ciryl Gane. Making his first appearance in 3 years, Jones will be making his heavyweight debut. Moreover, Jones and Gane, the #1 ranked contender, will be fighting for Francis Ngannou‘s vacant title, following his departure from the UFC.

Additionally, we have another banger in the co-main event. Valentina Shevchenko takes on the #4 ranked UFC women’s flyweight contender Alexa Grasso, as she makes yet another title defense. For the rest of the main card, we will see Geoff Neal taking on Shavkat Rakhmonov, Mateusz Gamrot vs Jalin Turner, and Bo Nickal making his return against Jamie Pickett.
Also on the card is Derek Brunson taking on Dricus Du Plessis. Fans will also be treated to the return of Cody Garbrandt returning to bantamweight to take on Trevin Jones. Previously, Cody was scheduled to take on Julio Arce, who has since been replaced due to injury.
Similarly, Mateusz Gamrot steps in on short notice to replace an injured Dan Hooker. According to rumors, Amanda Nunes was meant to take on Irene Aldana, but the fight has now been shifted to a future event.
