The next day in the O2 Arena is the UFC 30th Anniversary Q&A at 5 PM GMT. The panel features British GOAT, Michael “The Count” Bisping, who works as an analyst/commentator for the UFC now. Heavyweight Tom Aspinall and former fighters Brad Pickett and Ian Freeman will join The Count at the event. The ceremonial weigh-ins start an hour later at 6 PM but doors open to the fans at 4 PM GMT.
The fight between Birmingham’s Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman certainly has the big fight feel, And on the other hand, English crowds can make even a Fight Night card feel like a PPV. UFC 286 does seem to have all the makings of a killer PPV on Saturday.
Will Kamaru and Leon surpass the records set by Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane’s heavyweight clash at UFC 285? What do you think the gate and PPV buys will be like?
