UFC 286 has just concluded and will be a talked about event for some time to come. With some stellar performances and finishes from the fighters on show, the fans got everything they asked for. As such, let’s do a recap of all the results, bonus winners, and other interesting details from the night.
The event saw some big moments, starting from the very first fight of the preliminary card. UFC flyweight Muhammad Mokaev avoided defeat at the risk of having his leg broken by Jafel Filho. Eventually, the UK fighter went on to make a recovery and submit his opponent to win the fight.
Similarly, we also saw some big moments in the co-main and main events of the night where Justin Gaethje and Leon Edwards were able to claim victories via majority decisions. Notably, Leon Edwards was accused of cheating on two instances during the fight, one whilst grabbing Usman’s glove and another when he grabbed the cage to prevent getting taken down.
On the other hand, Justin Gaethje delivered another ‘highlight’ performance, badly bloodying Fiziev during their fight. Other than that, we also saw some big-name celebrities like Tom Holland and Jared Leto along with fighters like Colby Covington. As per Dana White, Covington will be the next challenger to Leon Edwards’ throne, likely during international fight week.
