Quinton Jackson is one of the most hilarious and likable UFC fighters of all time. Despite brandishing a lot of violence in his fighting days, Jackson has always had a funny side to him. However, when things get serious, even someone like him can get extremely agitated.
For those unaware, ‘Rampage’ Jackson is one of the most well-known UFC fighters, primarily due to his character, charisma, and Hollywood appearances. During his fighting career, Jackson has mixed it up with the best of the best and has heated rivalries with the likes of Rashad Evans and others. Thus, he is a well-respected figure in the MMA community.
With that said, despite Jackson’s stature, he still does not get along with some fighters. Previously, Quinton was meant to interview Ian Garry ahead of his UFC 296 fight against Vicente Luque. Ahead of their interview, Jackson appeared on Ariel Helani’s The MMA Hour, where he unintentionally asked questions about the Irish fighter’s wife. As it turns out, Garry took offense to these questions and declined to appear on the podcast.
Quinton Jackson claims that his son can beat Ian Garry
Naturally, Ian Garry did not just refuse to come on the podcast, but he also had some more comments from Quinton Jackson. In an Instagram story posted afterward, Garry labeled the former UFC light heavyweight champion as ‘stupid’ and a ‘c**t’. Despite saying that it didn’t affect him too much, Jackson clearly still harbors some resentment against the fighter.
In a recent episode of the JAXXON podcast, Quinton, along with TJ Dillashaw, Luke Rockhold, and Bear Degidio, discussed some recent fights. Among them, was Ian Garry’s ‘boring’ fight against Geoff Neal at UFC 298. Speaking on the topic of Ian Garry, Rampage naturally had a lot to say:
“If I see Ian Garry, he might be in some mother f***ing trouble. Cause you don’t call no motherf*****g man a b*tch, where I’m from!”

When asked if he would fight Ian Garry, Rampage added:
“What?! I would hurt his feelings. My son would beat his motherf***ing a**, right now. My son would his motherf***ing a**.”
“I would just grab him by the neck and just b*tch smack him”.
Ian Garry goes OFF on Rampage Jackson 😳
Says he was supposed to be on Rampage’s podcast next Monday, but will cancel now:
“You’re definitely not having me on now because you’re a f***ing idiot chatting mad sh*t.”

As for Rampage’s son, Raja Jackson, the 23-year-old decided to go pro after a 4-0 record as an amateur. However, things did not go to plan as he lost his first pro fight by way of a unanimous decision. As such, it’s safe to say that Quinton is still very much against the Irish welterweight prospect and likely will be for quite some time. With that said Jackson is surprisingly a big fan of another Irish fighter.
Quinton Jackson is eagerly awaiting Conor McGregor’s UFC return
As it turns out, Quinton Jackson is reportedly a big Conor McGregor fan. Seeing his performance against Nate Diaz in their rematch, Jackson was mightily impressed by the fighter. As such, he considers the Irishman the biggest UFC star ever and top 5 UFC fighters of all time.
Notably, he is also very defensive about the fighter, stating:
“Listen, listen don’t say sh*t about McGregor, don’t you know I’m his biggest fan? I’m his biggest fan”.
With that said Rampage is eagerly awaiting Conor’s reported return to the Octagon in the summer of this year. Although he is set to be fighting Michael Chandler, Jackson believes that win or lose, Conor should keep fighting and pursue the trilogy fight against Nate Diaz, no matter what. Two of the biggest combat sports athletes of all time, Quinton believes that the trilogy needs to happen before the two decide to call it a day.
