Matt Riddle has found himself in various troubles over the past few years. Not only was he released from the Stamford based promotion almost a week ago, but an investigation was also being carried out in his regard. There have been many opinions by the fans with regards to the matter. While one segment of the audience held him guilty, many stood by his side.
In an exclusive report to Ringside News by an officer on the scene, Matt Riddle was claimed to be “acting disruptive.” While there had been nothing other than the claims for the fans to believe, a video has now surfaced on the internet. TMZ Sports took the lead in bringing out the video. Although unclear, the 52-second video clearly shows what situation actually arose on the airport scene.
In the video, Riddle can be seen actually acting disruptive. He looked drunk and spoke extremely loud on the day the controversy came to light. Fans also spotted a drink in his hand, probably a restricted item. While the investigations now seem to have settled down, the incident would continue to stay as another blemish in the 37 years of his life.
What exactly is Matt Riddle’s airport controversy?
Matt Riddle recently made headlines for being involved in an airport altercation. Riddle was travelling back from India after the WWE Superstar Spectacle. However, on the way to JFK Airport, Riddle accused an officer of sexually assaulting him.
The former WWE star took to Instagram to reveal the face of the officer and justify the assault hurled at him. Soon after, he took down the post. However, by then, the damage had already been done. In response to his claim, the authorities claimed to make further investigations into the matter.
The officers on the scene saw the actual state that Matt Riddle was in. They claimed that the WWE star was intoxicated and loud. While they first stopped him from boarding the flight, he was soon let go. It was also reported that the Super King of Bros tried his fame to get through the matter.

On the other hand, after a prolonged altercation, Matt Riddle shared a picture on his Instagram account. With this, he wrote, “Finally leaving JFK and I never wanna come back here again.” It may have been a very tough situation for the WWE star. However, things now seem to have settled down for him.
