Comedian Josh Berry left the tennis world in splits as he impersonated the Big 4 of tennis. Berry is well-known for his comedy chops and celebrity impressions. His impressions of Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer were as uncanny as they were hilarious. LTA caught up with him during the Davis Cup match, and he injected some levity into the tournament.
Impersonation seems to be the flavor of the season, as Djokovic hilariously mimicked his peers at the US Open. Now the Serb was the one who was impersonated, as Josh nailed his body language and mannerisms. Berry captured Djokovic’s ambitious goals and delivered his dialogues with precision. When asked if he would retire, Berry-Djokovic played up Novak’s longevity.
“Well, my friend, I think that me slowing down, it will never happen. But no, seriously. I will never retire. I will keep playing tennis. The vegan diet means that I have the internal organs of a 14-year-old, so I will keep it there,” he said.
🤣 @JoshBerryComedy’s impressions are spot on 🤣

Josh hilariously imitated Federer too. He captured the essence of his humble bragging and had a hilarious answer when asked who was the best player.
“Look, I’d have to say it’s definitely me. You know, there are a lot of great guys who played tennis. You know, Novak and Rafa and everything, but everyone likes me more than them. And I look better than them on the court. And, you know, I think they would agree with that,” replied Berry-Federer.
The comedian also impersonated Nadal and Andy Murray, and he was spot-on with their accents and body language. He poked fun at Nadal’s muscular frame and his injuries. Berry also captured the differences between Andy Murray, and his brother Jamie.
It was a fun interview and it reminded fans of the little nuances and mannerisms we have come to associate with these players. They have taken tennis to greater heights but Novak Djokovic has surpassed the others when it comes to records.
Is Novak Djokovic the best player?
The Serb created a new record when he won the US Open earlier this month. He became the first player to win 24 Grand Slam titles, thus equaling Margaret Court’s record.
In his long career, Novak has created and broken records like no other player. Djokovic has won three of the four major slams in a year, four times in his career. It is a record in itself because no one else has managed it so far.
Grand Slams aside, the Serb also holds the record for winning the most Masters 1000 titles. He has 39 so far, his latest being the Cincinnati Open. Djokovic has three titles more than Nadal, and eleven more than Federer. He has also won all nine masters, something neither Rafa nor Roger managed.
The Serb is one of the most consistent players of all time. His hard work and dedication to the sport have paid off, as he now holds yet another record. Novak has spent the maximum number of weeks at the top of the world rankings- 392 weeks, as of today.
There is no doubt that Novak Djokovic is one of the best players in tennis. The numbers speak for themselves. And Djokovic is not in the mood to stop anytime soon.
