Since making his return to AEW after a nine-month absence due to a devastating injury, CM Punk has been unstoppable. The Best in the World has had a tonne of momentum on his side, and the highlight of his ongoing stint is probably his match against Samoa Joe.
Punk is currently one of the biggest attractions in the Jacksonville-based promotion, and that’s why fans have been speculating if CM Punk will compete at AEW’s upcoming PPV, All In, in London, England. And if he does, against whom? So let’s check out if he will be making an appearance on the upcoming PPV or not.
The Best in the World is arguably the top attraction on All Elite Wrestling, and it’s obvious that he’ll be fighting at AEW All In, London. At the PPV, Punk will defend his ‘Real World Championship’ against veteran performer Samoa Joe, and their match is expected to be similarly exciting as their previous bout.
It must be noted that The Best in the World recently retained his ‘Real AEW World Championship’ by defeating Ricky Starks in a match that had Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat as the guest referee. This match was the main event of the August 5 episode of AEW Collision, and Punk defeated Starks to retain his title.
Due to Punk’s successful title defense, his opponent wasn’t able to take the loss and took out his frustration on Steamboat, which generated a lot of heel heat for Starks. His assault on The Dragon also helped The Best in the World receive some fan support, which wasn’t really there before that assault.
When is AEW All In? What are the matches announced for the PPV?
Tony Khan‘s company will be organizing the AEW All-In PPV at Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday, August 27, 2023. The event is still two weeks away but has already fetched massive fan attention due to its high-profile matches.
The Jacksonville-based promotion has confirmed three speculator matches for its upcoming PPV in London. As already mentioned, AEW All In will see CM Punk defend his Real World title against Samoa Joe, which is expected to be a highly entertaining match with some spectacular storytelling highlights.

Not just this, but the other two officially announced matches for All In PPV are also going to be an art of pro wrestling masterclass. The event will see AEW World Champion MJF defend his title against The Panama City Playboy Adam Cole. While no other matches have been confirmed, the Jacksonville-based promotion has teased a few bouts for the PPV.
The match card for AEW All In is still shaping up, even if we only consider these two matches, Tony’s company is guaranteed to have a great event in London. It’ll be interesting to see which other matches will be announced for AEW’s upcoming event and who will come out on top in the matches that have already been confirmed.
