Today is Valentine’s day, and we celebrate the emotion of love on this day. People around the world will be spending this day with their loved ones and celebrating.
Nonetheless, the NBA’s official Twitter handle has got the basketball fans covered on this special day with NBA V-Day cards. Let’s take a look at the cards they have made for us with love.
NBA’s Valentine’s day cards
To start, the Orlando Magic picked Paolo Banchero as the No.1 overall in the 2020 NBA Draft. Hence, they sought it best to caption him, “You’re My Number 1 Pick.“

They decided to have a little fun and make the basketball fans weak in their knees, by posting Oklahoma City Thunder’s Josh Giddey. The caption is fitting to the Australian’s surname, “You Make Me Giddey”.
Next up they went with New York Knicks‘ point guard Immanuel Quickley with the V-Day card. They played with yet another player’s surname, “I’m Quickley Falling For You,” written on the young point guard’s card.

Next up, they went with Dallas Mavericks’ forward Christian Wood. The NBA is having fun with the names of players and making them delightful on this lovely day. “Wood You Be Mine?” said on Christian Wood’s card.
One of the most dominant centers made the list on the V-Day card, Shaquille O’Neal. This card features Shaq’s Shoe Cell Phone, which he came up with in the 2005 NBA All-Star and passed it to “Flash” and Allen Iverson to talk to the other person on the other side.

The NBA decided to go with the highlight dunk from Ja Morant against the Indiana Pacers. The Jam was out of this world after he swung his arm back almost parallel to the hardwood and attacked the rim.
These are the cards the organization decided to go with for this Valentine’s day. The use of player’s name, their highlight, and iconic troll moments made their way to make these cards. It is a sweet gesture from the best basketball league in the world to make its fanbase feel love on such an occasion.
