Many superstars went from SmackDown to RAW during the 2024 WWE Draft and vice versa. Also, there were many superstars who remained on the same brand following Night 1 of the Draft. Also, Night 1 of the Draft featured some of the NXT superstars getting called up to the main roster.
Another thing that surprised the fans was the appearance of several WWE Hall of Famers and legends. This includes Triple H, who appeared to announce the first-round picks along with Cody Rhodes. Thereafter, Michelle McCool and Torrie Wilson appeared to announce the second-round picks for Night 1.

Moving ahead, The Dudley Boyz, that is, Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley, appeared to announce the third-round picks. Finally, the fourth round picks were announced by Teddy Long and John “Bradshaw” Layfield, aka JBL.

Meanwhile, the third round of the Draft featured no change of brands. However, in the final round of the draft, Andrade, who was previously a part of RAW, got drafted to SmackDown. On the other hand, Kiana James got called up to RAW from NXT.

In addition to that, after SmackDown went off the air, WWE took to social media to announce more picks. During that, the Stamford-based promotion announced that Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn who were previously a part of SmackDown, got drafted to RAW. On the other hand, Baron Corbin got promoted from NXT to SmackDown.

While the first night of the 2024 Draft presented several superstars changing brands, there were also many superstars who remained with the same brand as before. For instance, the first overall pick of the WWE Draft 2024 was Bianca Belair, who remained on SmackDown. It is also worth mentioning that Belair made history by becoming the first African-American woman to be the overall first pick in a WWE Draft.

Also, LA Knight and The Bloodline continued to be a part of SmackDown, while Ricochet and Sheamus remained on RAW after the third-round picks. Finally, AJ Styles remained on SmackDown, and The Alpha Academy continued to be on RAW after the final round picks.
In addition to that, in the picks announced by WWE post-SmackDown, Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, and Ivar remained on RAW. While, Cedric Alexander, Ashante “Thee” Adonis, and The O.C. remained on SmackDown.
