On an episode of Raw, Triple H unveiled the brand-new World Heavyweight Championship that will be exclusive to Raw. However, when the tournament for the new title was announced, it was revealed that SmackDown superstars would also be part of the competition. Furthermore, the final of the tournament to crown the new World Champion is set to take place at the Night of Champions PLE.
The two superstars who have made their way into the finals are Seth Rollins from Raw and AJ Styles from SmackDown. Over the course of his career, Rollins achieved innumerable accolades and championship titles. Ever since the new world title was announced, Seth has been heavily rumored to win. On the other hand, AJ Styles recently returned to WWE TV and fans don’t see him losing either.

Multiple reports also suggested that The Visionary is indeed WWE’s choice to become the new champion. However, current circumstances might force the WWE to make some changes to its plans. It was previously announced that Seth had landed a huge acting role in the MCU movie “Captain America: New World Order”. And due to the filming of his scenes, Rollins has been absent from WWE TV and house shows as well.
Although Seth would be reaching Saudi Arabia for the Night of Champions PLE, his becoming champion seems uncertain. Since The Visionary has garnered attention from the film industry, he is expected to bag more movie roles in the future. Rollins’ WWE schedule is expected to be shortened due to his acting career, like the previous wrestler-turned-actors. WWE might think twice before putting the new title on him.

Seth “Freakin” Rollins is one of the biggest WWE superstars right now, and everyone believes he should definitely be a world champion. However, AJ Styles is undeniably an equally credible superstar to become the world champion after almost 5 years. Meanwhile, after Rollins was spotted on the sets of a new MCU movie, fans believe he will bag more roles in the future. And his schedule might entirely change.

While fans may think Seth filming for the movie means Styles will capture the title, that may not actually be the case. Even if Seth is going to be busy with Hollywood, WWE might give him a World Championship run. Before leaving or becoming a part-timer. On top of that, WWE has teased two potential feuds for AJ on SmackDown. That could very well mean he is staying on SmackDown and not winning the world title at Night of Champions.
