SUMMARY
- On January 25, former WWE employee, Janel Grant, filed a s*x trafficking lawsuit against Vince McMahon.
- Amid the recent lawsuit, Mr. McMahon has resigned from the TKO Group.
WWE is at its absolute peak when it comes to the on-screen product, and Royal Rumble 2024 was a prime example of it. But just days before this PLE, the Stamford-based promotion had to face a major shock, as their former CEO Vince McMahon was accused of s*x trafficking.
On January 25, the company’s former employee, Janel Grant, filed a lawsuit against Vince, and since then, the entire industry has been talking about it. Due to the seriousness of this matter, Triple H was also asked about it during the media conference after the Royal Rumble. But he claimed that he got to know about the matter at the same time as the public.
The Game might have said this during the conference, but the lawsuit contradicts his statement. According to the lawsuit, WWE was aware of Vince’s alleged s*xual harassment on Grant, but didn’t take action. Janel accused that the company allowed the assault she was going through in the promotion.
Such allegations against the Stamford-based promotion in the lawsuit obviously mean that the organization knew about this saga. But Hunter’s recent comments are completely opposite. All this has certainly caused a lot of uncertainty among fans about this entire lawsuit.
What did Triple H actually say about the Vince McMahon lawsuit?
While it’s true that Triple H claimed that he got to know about the lawsuit on the same day the audience did, people have been asking what exactly he said. As a reporter asked him if he had read the recent lawsuit, The Game tried to dodge the question.
In an attempt to clear his side regarding the s*x trafficking lawsuit against Vince, the veteran pro wrestler said, “We all found out in real time when you were…& that’s the truth.” In addition to this, the 14-time WWE Champion shared that he wants to focus on the positives. “Yes, there’s a negative, but I wanna focus on that and just keep it to that.” (Via- X)

His comments about the lawsuit surely left people disappointed, but it must be considered that he’s in a tough position. As Kennedy is his father-in-law and he also holds a major responsibility in the WWE promotion, it’s understandable why he didn’t commented much on this saga.
Can Vince McMahon ever make a return to the WWE?
Hunter’s media conference is currently a topic of discussion among fans, but another is the TKO resignation of Mr. McMahon. While resigning the 78-year-old stated that all the claims that have been made against him are false. In fact, he added that he’ll defend himself to clear his name from the allegations.
Due to these comments by Vincent, fans have been wondering what his next step will be. But fans has also been questioning if Vince can ever make a return to WWE, as he previously did. If the seriousness of the current situation is concerned, it seems his time is in the company is surely over.
WWE Sold To Endeavor, Company To Merge With UFC
Endeavor – the parent company of UFC – today announced that they have signed an agreement with WWE to form a new publicly listed company that will bring together UFC and WWE. Endeavor will hold a 51% controlling interest in the new… pic.twitter.com/Mdat3p8Qwe

The reason behind this is the merger between the UFC and WWE that took place in September 2023. Since that deal, Endeavor is the biggest stakeholder, and Mr. McMahon doesn’t hold the power he once used to have. If all such factors are combined, it seems that Kennedy’s run with the promotion is over. Thus, he’ll probably now remain away from the pro wrestling organization forever.
