Jon Jones is currently in Las Vegas Nevada for his UFC 285 fight against Ciryl Gane. He will finally make his heavyweight debut after a wait of 3 years. Not only that, but the heavyweight title is also on the line for the bout. Seeing Jones after such a long period, definitely has the fans excited. He received a huge ovation during the pre-fight presser. But not just the fans, it looks like Jon will have the support of his wife as well.
Ahead of the fight week, there was a lot of chatter about Jon’s physique. Some doubted whether Jon was big enough to compete in the heavyweight division. Although some are making fun of Jon’s heavyweight physique and calling him “fat,” there is no doubt that Jon has bulked up enough to go toe to toe against Gane. Even Jones’ wife Jessie Moses agrees that Jon’s physique is on par with Gane, if not bigger!
Jon added, “That was my first time meeting Ciryl in person, yeah. It’s funny cause in my mind I just viewed him as being like this big man that was just massive. And, I looked at everywhere at my wife in the front row and she’s like, ‘Jon, you look, you look big.”
It appears that Jon Jones is currently married. He was previously engaged to his long-term girlfriend, Jessie Moses. Although Jon previously stated that He and Jessie had broken up, it looks like the couple is back together and has taken the ultimate step in their relationship. Although the last time the pair were together in Las Vegas, it had an unfortunate ending. But it looks like Jon is a completely different person these days.
Jon Jones was arrested for alleged domestic violence in 2021
So what happened the last time both Jessie Moses and Jon Jones were together in Las Vegas? In September 2021, Jon Jones was in Vegas for his Hall of Fame induction ceremony. He and Alexander Gustafsson had one of the greatest title fights in 2013 at UFC 165. The bout ultimately made its way into the Hall of Fame. As a result, Jon was in Vegas to accept the honor.
However, later that night, Jon was arrested for alleged domestic violence. Although he had some serious issues with USADA and law in the past, it was undoubtedly the lowest point of Jon’s life. Despite the case being dropped in December 2021 when Jon took a plea deal, it had a lasting impact both on his life and career. After the incident, he was suspended by his longtime coach Mike Winkeljohn.

It ultimately led to his exit from “Jackson Wink MMA Academy.” But since then, Jon promised to quit alcohol consumption and did his best to turn his life around. It looks like Jon has kept his promise and is focused on getting back into the Octagon. While it took him 3 years to get back to the Octagon, Jones will finally take to the cage on March 4th in the T-Mobile Arena.
