She also has a big connection to the world of sports, as Gisele was married to Tom Brady for 13 years. After meeting in 2006, the couple started dating the following year and got married in 2009. During their marriage, they also had two children.
But, there was trouble in paradise when Brady decided to break his retirement and come back to the NFL field. Although Tom suggested that Gisele gave him her blessings to do so, that may not have been entirely true.
Ahead of their separation, there were reports that Brady’s on-field career was a reason for friction between the two. They ultimately finalized their divorce in October 2022.
As the lawyers were sorting out the details of their divorce, Gisele and Tom were not living together. While Tom was with his team Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Gisele Bündchen apparently lived in Florida. That detail becomes very crucial as a new report suggests, she is dating a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente, based in the state.
Joaquim Valente, along with his brothers, has a BJJ academy in Miami Beach, Florida. Valente previously did a photoshoot with Gisele in 2021 for Dust Magazine. Their collaboration was over Jiu-Jitsu and self-defense. Since then, she stayed in touch with Joaquim. They also held training sessions and Gisele shared a look at their training on Instagram.
But when did the reports of their affair come to the public eye? Recently, the couple was on a vacation with their friends and children in Costa Rica. Pictures emerged of them walking side by side. After the pictures, sources close to Brady questioned the timing of their vacation. Apparently, Costa Rica was Brady and Gisele’s frequent holiday destination. But Gisele’s side is apparently maintaining the stance that she is only friends with Joaquim Valente.

So it is hard to pinpoint the time when they started their romantic journey. They are not dating in an official manner. But, if the rumors of them dating are true, the time of Gisele’s divorce would be a good guess as the start of their romance.

Joaquim Valente’s vacation with Gisele Bündchen is rumored to be on a romantic trip. However, it is only fans speculating based on tabloid rumors. But one thing is for sure, Valente is earning big wages as a part of the trip. According to a report from Marca, Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady‘s children do not attend school in person and are homeschooled.
Hence, Joaquim Valente is on the trip primarily as a physical trainer for Tom and Gisele’s children Benjamin and Vivian. Apparently, everywhere the two children go, their teachers follow them so that they do not miss any valuable lessons. Their father is perhaps the best NFL player of all time. If that is anything to go by, his children may also accomplish big things with Valente as their coach.

Valente has been training in BJJ from a very young age. He apparently took lessons from legendary BJJ practitioner Helio Gracie. Aside from his grappling prowess, Joaquim also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology from Barry University. He moved to the USA in 2007 for educational purposes, but stayed in the country since then and has become a celebrity now.
