Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen have finalized their divorce, bringing an end to the 13-year marriage. The NFL superstar and the supermodel started dating in 2007 and got married in 2009. However, things have not been great between the two for quite some time now. There were rumours of separation going on for the past few months and they are finally going their own ways.
According to a report from TMZ, Brady and Gisele came to a settlement as well. The couple took some time to come to a settlement over their possessions. The report suggests both have come to a mutual understanding regarding the joint properties and custody of their children. But fans should not expect to know the terms as the documents are apparently very brief and private.
Gisele initially walked away from modelling in 2015. Although she did not retire from the industry, she focused more towards her family life. However, she came back to feature on the cover of V Magazine earlier this year. So was the case with Tom Brady. After his retirement in 2021, Brady came back to NFL. Tom is currently playing for Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while Gisele is living in Miami, away from home.

As per a report from Marca, Gisele Bündchen was not happy with Tom Brady for coming out of retirement. Apparently, the 42-year-old was eager to make her return to the ramp after Tom’s retirement. But, with Tom now actively participating in the ongoing season, Gisele had to compromise once more. Reportedly, that was the straw to break the camel’s back and Gisele wanted a divorce.
Tom Brady is reportedly heartbroken about the whole situation. Although he did not want the relationship to end this way, he does not want any public drama and wanted a peaceful settlement. It certainly backs up the claims of a short and peaceful negotiation between the two over the divorce terms.

Gisele Bündchen also confirmed the news of her divorce from Tom Brady with a statement on her Instagram account. Although she is sad about the end of her relationship with the 45-year-old, she wishes Tom the best in his career.
“With much gratitude for our time together, Tom and I have amicably finalized our divorce. My priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart. We will continue co-parenting to give them the love, care and attention they greatly deserve.”
