NFL legend Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen finalized their divorce in October earlier this year. Their marriage ended after the couple fell out about Brady’s decision to restart his football career. After the separation, there were a lot of rumors regarding who Bündchen will start dating next.
Tom’s former teammate Antonio Brown dismissed fan speculation that he will try to date the supermodel. But, the curiosity surrounding her dating life can end as there is some significant recent development.
A report from Page Six recently revealed that Gisele was in Costa Rica with her Jiu-Jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. Images of their recent dinner date surfaced online where they were walking on the streets of Provincia de Puntarenas.
Valente is not an A-list celebrity. As previously mentioned, he is a BJJ instructor who runs an academy named VALENTE BROTHERS jiujitsu in Miami Beach, Florida. Bündchen first collaborated with Joaquim in 2021, when she posed for Dust Magazine. The 42-year-old shared glimpse of her training sessions with Joaquim on her Instagram as well.
Is Gisele Bündchen trying to make Tom Brady jealous?
As soon as pictures with Gisele Bündchen and Joaquim Valente hit the internet, fans wondered what was cooking between the two. Despite no official announcement from either Bündchen or Valente, some speculated that they may be enjoying a romantic vacation.
However, a recent report from TMZ suggests something else. The entertainment outlet suggested that the recent vacation was not a romantic trip. A close source refuted the reports of Gisele and Valente dating.
Apparently, the Costa Rica trip was nothing but a friendly one where 6 friends planned a getaway with their respective children. The report does have some validity to it as Gisele’s children were also seen among the leaked images.

But the report also quoted another source close to Tom Brady. They do not seem convinced that Gisele and Joaquim are just friends. According to them, the pictures surfaced at a very odd time and questioned Bündchen’s decision to walk away from the marriage. “It always seemed weird she just one day abruptly ended the marriage.”
It is well known by now that the Brazilian supermodel was frustrated with the marriage for quite some time. Reportedly, she did not want Tom Brady to resume his on-field career despite retiring after winning his 7th Super Bowl ring. Brady’s lack of attention to his family life caused the rift in their marriage. Reports also insisted it was Gisele who wanted to part ways and resume her illustrious modeling career.
Since their divorce, both have been linked with several celebrities. While Kim Kardashian was thought to be Brady’s next partner, Pete Davidson found himself linked with Gisele. However, nobody thought Gisele will date anyone so soon after her divorce. Apparently, Costa Rica was a frequent travel destination for Brady and Gisele.
So Gisele‘s trip with Joaquim to Costa Rica, begs the question of whether she is trying to make Tom jealous or not. An insider spoke to Marca and seemingly wondered the same. They said, “It certainly looks like Gisele is showing off – and showing Tom what he’s missing. All indications are that Gisele is sending Tom a message.”
