While talking about the death of thousands of people who were killed by illegals in the nation, Biden also mentioned the death of nursing student Laken Riley.
Unfortunately, the president said Lincoln Riley instead of Laken Riley, which created too much confusion among the nation’s people. For that reason, Biden faced much criticism from netizens on social media.
Lincoln Riley’s coaching career
The high-profile USC Trojan coach began his coaching career in 2003 at Texas Tech University. Riley served in various coaching roles for the university team until 2009. Later, in 2010, the 40-year-old transferred to East Carolina and worked until 2014.
Riley moved to Oklahoma from 2015 to 2016, where he worked as an offensive coordinator and quarterback coach before becoming head coach in 2017. He served as head coach at the university until 2021.
After serving as head coach for four years, Riley transferred to the USC Trojans in 2022. In his coaching career, Riley achieved some notable awards, including the Broyles Award, Big 12 Coach of the Year, and AP Big 12 Coach of the Year.
