Damar Hamlin, the American safety a few hours ago collapsed mid-game. During the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals game, the Bill’s safety fell on the ground during the first quarter of the match. While Hamlin was tackling Tee Higgins, his helmet hit Hamlin’s chest. Right after that Damar Hamlin got up but immediately fell on his back hard. The game was called off and postponed and the organization said they will conduct the game at the ‘right time”.
It is said his condition is critical and he suffered a cardiac arrest on the field. The crowd watched that he received on-field medical attention for more than 30 minutes before being taken to a local hospital. The whole world watched this tragic incident and many big names are praying for the 24-year-old safety. Some big names have recently tweeted and conveyed their message about this, one of them is Tom Brady. He wishes Hamlin’s speedy recovery.

The players of both teams gathered around Hamlin while he was receiving CPR from the medical officials. While some kneeled and prayed for his well being the others burst into tears. Hamlin’s representative, Jordan Rooney recently tweeted “His vitals are back to normal and they have put him to sleep to put a breathing tube down his throat. They are currently running tests. We will provide updates as we have them.”

Tee Higgins was the man whose helmet hit Hamlin’s chest which triggered him to go into cardiac arrest. Well, as an athlete he was doing his job and so was Hamlin. None of them knew what was coming for them a few minutes later. The game was postponed and usually, this does not happen due to any kind of injury but because the incident was very huge and critical this had to be done. Higgins tweeted and wished Hamlin a speedy recovery.

Some people are hating and commenting on Tee Higgin’s Instagram, calling him a ‘murderer’ but there are also people who are supporting and understanding how Higgins would be feeling. Luckily people who are supporting him in these dark times are in majority. Even a few politicians have shown their support and love toward him.
