When Tom wanted to resume his career after hanging up his boots in 2021, Gisele was strictly against it. Rumor has it, Bündchen wanted Tom to retire for good and stop taking damage from football.
However, Tom decided to play regardless and it led to their divorce in October earlier this year. Although Brady is strictly focusing on his on-field career, Bündchen has reportedly moved on.
According to a report on Page Six, Gisele was pictured with BJJ instructor Joaquim Valente in Costa Rica. Following her divorce, Bündchen decided to take a vacation and Valente accompanied her. A lot of fans were surprised to see the Brazilian supermodel reportedly dating. However, one person who is not surprised by the incident is Jake Shields.

Jake Shields is a former UFC and WSOF (PFL) fighter. He won the Strikeforce middleweight championship in 2009 against Jason “Mayhem” Miller. He also found some success in the UFC, as he fought for the welterweight strap in his second fight in the company. But, he lost the fight against Georges St-Pierre in 2011. Shields ended his career with an MMA record of 33 wins and 11 losses.

Recently the 43-year-old weighed in on Gisele Bündchen. Shields has an illustrious background in BJJ and has been a practitioner his whole life.
After the news came out that Tom Brady‘s ex-wife is rumored to be dating her jiu-jitsu instructor, Shields had some very interesting comments. Known for his controversial opinions, Shields implied that Brady should never have allowed Joaquim in Gisele’s life.
Regardless of the rumors, there is another reason for Valente to be with Gisele on the Costa Rica trip. Both Gisele’s children are homeschooled and Valente is in charge of their physical training. However, some sources claimed that Gisele’s move to bring Joaquim to the trip was to make Brady jealous.
Bündchen first came across Joaquim Valente in 2021, when she did a shoot with the Valente brothers for Dust Magazine. Since then, she stayed in touch with Joaquim, and now they are rumored to be in a relationship.
