Antonio Brown stripped off his gear and clothes and decided to leave the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Jets game before it even ended. He went to the sideline while he took it all off. Continuing this, the wide receiver threw his shirt into the crowd and flashed a peace sign to the crowd before going to the locker room. While the whole team and the world watched, the head coach was furious at Brown for his actions.

This action might have just cost him his spot on the team. The Bucs did win the game by 28-24 and after the game team’s head coach, Bruce Arians was asked what exactly happened to the athlete. “He is no longer a Buc. All right? That’s the end of the story” Arians stated. Following this statement, the Bucs made Brown’s release official a few days after the game. Sources say he claimed that he suffering from an ankle injury and Arians wouldn’t take him off the field.

“At no point in time during that game did he ever ask the trainer or doctor about his ankle. He never went through, that’s the normal protocol. You go through protocols during games. I was never notified of it.” Arians said. Brown too had his reasons for his actions. Though the reason is a little unclear let’s hear what AB said.

“I know we were losing to the Jets and that was frustrating for all of us. But I could not make football plays on that ankle,” Brown said. “Yes, I walked off the field. But there’s a major difference between launching from the line and taking hits, compared to jogging off the field with a rush of emotions going through your mind. I am reflecting on my reaction, but there was a trigger.” Brown said. In his recent ‘I Am Athlete’ podcast he complained about his salary too.
Was Antonio Brown fined for walking off field?
Brown just had to make 8 more catches to receive a $333,333 bonus. However, he lost the opportunity to get that. Not only he lost an opportunity to earn a fortune but he lost his job.

Brown was also accused of showing a fake Covid vaccine card which resulted in him getting a three-match suspension. Brown’s best buddy Tom Brady too had to say a few things related to this stunt.

Brown did make the headlines but for the wrong reasons. An athlete with his talent and potential would be one of the greatest with some morality and ground ethics.
