ONE Fight Night 18 Results: Shamil Gasanov Too Good For Oh Ho Taek, Suablack Wins Thriller. Russian #4 featherweight MMA contender Shamil Gasanov was simply too good for Oh Ho Taek when their main event fight hit the mat at ONE Fight Night 18.
“The Cobra” smothered his South Korean foe en route to a unanimous decision victory at the historic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on January 13. Far from overmatched, Oh hung in there to ward off Gasanov’s repeated attempts to lock up a submission but, ultimately, he enjoyed little success in return.
Gasanov successfully rebounded from the first loss of his professional MMA career against Garry Tonon last year and cemented his #4 spot in the divisional rankings. In the co-main event, Thailand’s Suablack Tor Pran49 brought his fellow countrymen to their feet with a thrilling comeback win over Irish promotional debutant Stefan Korodi.

The Thai star looked all but gone after crashing to the canvas early in the second round due to a piston-like Korodi punch, but he somehow recovered to beat the count and land two knockdowns of his own. Suablack kept his foot on the gas in the final round to run away with a unanimous decision victory and extend his ONE Championship win streak to six.
