With the 2023-2024 NBA season only a few weeks from officially beginning, Philadelphia 76ers fans might certainly want to know what their roster looks like this year. As many of us might have already heard, this NBA offseason has been filled with quite a lot of drama for the 76ers.
James Harden had an internal dispute with the 76ers management after they allegedly backtracked on their promise to offer him a max contract. Since the 76ers star leaving would undoubtedly impact their chances of staying in contention, trade rumors regarding the potential departure of Joel Embiid soon began to gain traction as well.
Although the 76ers initially appeared willing to move on from Harden, it was recently revealed that they had shut down trade discussions with the Los Angeles Clippers on trading James. Similarly, there has been no concrete reason to believe that Embiid will leave the 76ers.
Since this duo is expected to take the court and play together for the upcoming season, fans might be interested in finding out what their roster will look like. With that being said, let us take a closer look and find out more.
Patrick Beverley and Kelly Oubre Jr. are some of the new additions for the Philadelphia 76ers
While the 76ers missed out on acquiring some of the biggest stars this offseason such as Damian Lillard or Jrue Holiday, that does not mean they have made no additions or changes to their roster. After all, every team that falls short of winning an NBA title attempts to make some moves and get better for the next season.
