Multiple reports suggesting August 14th is the likely date for Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury in Saudi Arabia, with fight set to be officially announced this coming week. That date would be after the conclusion of the Olympics and so allow Rob McCracken to be present for both.

Additionally, the date is also set keeping in mind the availability of Robert McCracken, former boxer and current head trainer of the British boxing team. The renowned trainer is currently also helping Anthony Joshua with his bout against WBC and the Ring heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

Recently, after the conclusion of Canelo Alvarez vs Billy Joe Saunders, promoter Eddie Hearn revealed that the official confirmation for the Anthony Joshua vs Tyson  Fury bout for the undisputed heavyweight championship will be made next week. Be that as it may, reports are suggesting that the bout is set to go down in Saudia Arabia, and it will be interesting to see the reaction of the British fans after the official confirmation.

It’s an exciting match-up and one that will determine the greater heavyweight of the modern era. Fury has already put his stake in that claim by dethroning Wladimir Klitchschko and Denotay Wilder to become the champion. However, if Anthony Joshua can triumph over the Gypsy King, beyond a reason of belief, he will go down as the greatest heavyweight of the modern era.
