The promotion’s Chief Business Officer Hunter Campbell disclosed this news while speaking in an interview with ESPN’s Brett Okamoto. However, it is to be noted that this fight is not official as both the welterweights have verbally agreed and the contract is yet to be signed.
But one can expect this matchup to be officially announced and take place as all parties are interested. Interestingly, few days after Nate Diaz targeted Dana White and the UFC for not offering him a fight and asking for a release, the news surrounding his upcoming fight has made the headlines.
