And when he joined Red Bull Racing for the 2021 season, his salary was estimated to be around $5 million. Recently, he was the winner of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix and also finished 2nd in a Red Bull one-two at Sakhir before that. He stands in 2nd place in the WDC standings just one point behind reigning champion, Max Verstappen, who in turn has 44 points.
Even though it is too soon to predict, with the RB19 dominating the grid to another level, tensions are building between the drivers at Red Bull and it seems like this year, Perez might have a shot at the title.
