However, as per the latest turn of events, it looks like the Saudi club might be shifting from Nike to another renowned brand.
Al-Nassr and Adidas strike a multi-year sponsorship deal
The Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr has struck a multi-year partnership with the international brand Adidas. The German entity will be manufacturing the club’s kits from the 2024-2025 season. The tenure of the partnership is reported to be three years. The exact monetary figures of the partnership remain unspecified till now. However, rumored reports suggest the deal to be worth multi-million dollars.

Before becoming the official kit manufacturer of Al-Nassr, the German brand also struck a deal with the Saudi Pro League. It is for providing the official match balls for the league from the next season onwards. In its partnership deal with the Saudi club, Adidas is obliged to manufacture and provide kits for Al-Nassr’s senior-first team (men), youth sides, as well as women’s team.

The Regional Manager of Adidas, Bilal Fares shared his thoughts on the brand’s partnership with Al-Nassr. Bilal reportedly stated – “We are thrilled to announce the partnership between Adidas and Al-Nassr FC, which represents two entities committed to shaping the future of football (Soccer) in Saudi Arabia”. He further opined on how this sponsorship deal is unique.
Bilal Fares expressed – “With a comprehensive apparel agreement covering all teams and staff, we are not only outfitting a football club. We are empowering a movement”. From the words of Adidas’ regional manager, it can be inferred that this partnership between the Saudi club and the German brand is dedicated to embarking on a new era in Saudi soccer.
The sponsorship deal with Adidas might help Al-Nassr enhance its global stature
The majority of the top soccer clubs in Europe have either Adidas or Nike as their official kit partner. The German brand (Adidas) acquires a major proportion of the club soccer sponsorship market percentage. Also among soccer fans around the world, Adidas is viewed as one of the best kit manufacturers ever.

There is no denying the fact that a partnership deal with the well-known brand will only help the Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr in enhancing its global presence. Also, a sponsorship deal with Adidas doesn’t come easy for the clubs in the modern era.
