The match took place on the matchday 21 of the Saudi Pro League. While Al-Nassr won the away game 3-2, Ronaldo stole the headlines albeit for the wrong reasons. Fans caught Cristiano Ronaldo gesturing indecent hand signals towards a group of fans who were making Messi chants.

One such video has been making the rounds of the social media platform Reddit. Reddit users are livid with Cristiano’s obscene activity in a strictly Islamic country. Some of them shouted for arresting him while some questioned his maturity.
A user by the name of ‘jesusp*nk’ highlighted how easy it is nowadays to irritate the 39-year-old. The user wrote, “He’s so easily annoyed.” Another user who goes by the name of ‘PreferenceStreet4863‘ also let his frustration about the Portuguese known. The user wrote, “Arrest him immediately.”
It is illegal for a man in Saudi Arabia to make such obscene gestures. The judicial system of the Middle Eastern country usually clamps down such activities heavily.
‘badass_guts’ had a pretty humorous way of mocking the Al-Nassr captain. The user wrote, “New Fortnite emote just dropped.” Users like ‘trenbollocks’ were appalled to see Cristiano at such a mature age doing such childish acts. The user wrote, “39 outside, 15 inside”, clearly urging the veteran to stop acting like a child.
Al Nassr completes a miraculous comeback against Al-Shabab
Al-Nassr managed to clinch the tight game in the dying moments thanks to the heroics of Anderson Talisca. The referee awarded a penalty each to both teams which the former Atletico Madrid man Yannick Carrasco and Cristiano Ronaldo converted for their respective teams. Al-Shabab equalized twice in the game and ignited hopes of winning the game. However, the Al-Nassr men kept their composure and secured the 3 points.
Anderson Talisca was on fire the whole night, scoring two goals via clinical finishing. Abdullah Al-Khaibari provided a brilliant assist to the Brazilian for his match-winning goal. The midfielder evaded a few challenges before providing Talisca with a defense-piercing pass.

Cristiano Ronaldo looked pretty animated even after the match and expressed his joy on social media. His post on Instagram regarding the win against Al-Shabab read, “Until the very end! 👊 We keep going, no stopping! Al-Nassr are four points of league leaders Al-Hilal and would be hoping to close the game pretty soon.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s mocking of rival fans has caused a stir multiple times
As mentioned earlier, Cristiano’s on-field antics have reached an all-time high since the Portuguese arrived in Saudi. The former Real Madrid player has even before made gross hand gestures that haven’t gone down well with the fans. Cristiano’s first controversial interaction with his rival fans occurred in April 2023 in a SPL game against Al-Hilal. The 39-year-old had responded to Al-Hilal fans chanting the name of Lionel Messi by holding his crotch.
Fans have accused him of being a cheater on the pitch and shouting at female referees. He also once had an arrogant reaction to his rival’s mocking.
