Cristiano Ronaldo is undeniably among the top soccer players of all time. The Portuguese striker has won numerous awards including 4 Champions League titles with Real Madrid, Euro 2016 with Portugal, and 5 Ballon d’Or awards. However, despite being one of the best soccer players of all time, Ronaldo is apparently not fond of watching soccer on television during his leisure time.
In a chat with Kazakh boxing star Gennady Golovkin for a new documentary on DAZN, Ronaldo revealed that between watching a football match or a boxing or UFC fight, he would choose boxing or UFC. “My passion is to play football, but to see on television, I’d choose Boxing or UFC”, Ronaldo was quoted saying.

However, he did admit that he has no interest in ever getting into the ring or Octagon. ‘I think I was born to be a professional footballer, I thought I had that gift from the beginning, and I said to myself: “I’m going to grab this opportunity with my hands”, Ronaldo added.

The Portuguese star is a huge fan of boxing and MMA and has posted photos on his Instagram account alongside Floyd Mayweather, Anthony Joshua, and Conor McGregor. The 38-year-old striker has been an avid follower of UFC and boxing and says that he certainly takes inspiration from these sports.
