Erling Haaland has been in spectacular form for his club Manchester City this season as he has been scoring goals for fun, getting at the end of some brilliant team goals created by his teammates and it feels like he was the last missing puzzle for Pep Guardiola at Man City.
Much of the fireworks that Haaland produces on the field is down to his brilliant physical abilities as the Norwegian can accelerate very fast and his pace is one of the best among top strikers.
It is really easy for Haaland to get behind brilliant crosses put in by his teammates as the former Borussia Dortmund striker stands at a staggering height of 6’3 feet while weighing 88kg and his physique is regarded as one of the perfect physiques a soccer player can have.

His extra height allows him to rule the opponent’s box aerially and his weight most of which is muscle mass, helps him to glide past opponents with pace as Haaland is looked upon as one of the greatest in the making.
Erling Haaland’s height compared to other elite soccer players
While there have been players like Peter Crouch who stood at 6’5 feet and Zlatan Ibrahimovic who is of the same height as Haaland, none of the two boast of the same sprint speed and pace that Haaland has even with such a tall stature.
Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo who once was even faster than Haaland is 6’1 and is also regarded as having the best physique for a soccer player as the Portuguese developed his game according to his physical features throughout his career.
Haaland’s rival and French superstar Kylian Mbappe lacks the height of the Norwegian as he stands at 5’8 but the PSG forward compensates for his height with an unmatched blistering pace.
The diet that helps Erling Haaland maintain his weight
Erling Haaland recently revealed his diet in the documentary named ‘Haaland: The Big Decision’ where he said that he ate the hearts and livers of animals and avoided fast food to maintain his ideal weight.

He said: “You don’t eat this, but I am concerned with taking care of my body. I think eating quality food that is as local as possible is the most important. People say meat is bad for you, but which? The meat you get at McDonald’s? Or the local cow-eating grass right over there? I eat the heart and the liver.”
Haaland also revealed that he had a high-calorie diet consuming around 6000 calories a day and he also said that he loved the homemade lasagna made by his father which enhanced his performance and helped him maintain his physique.
