Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson could not believe it when he heard what Manchester City soccer player Erling Haaland eats. Haaland has a specific diet to keep him fit and healthy. However, by the looks of it, that diet probably just suits him.

Haaland is having a fantastic start to life at Manchester City. The 22-year-old already has 25 goals to his name in the Premier League before the beginning of game week 22. There are 18 more games left for City in the league and Haaland needs to score just eight more goals to score the highest-ever goals in a Premier League season.
How many calories does Erling Haaland eat?
The Norway international talked about his Hannibal Lecter-style routine, according to TalkSPORT, in his recent documentary called ‘Haaland: The Big Decision’.
“You (other people) don’t eat this, but I am concerned with taking care of my body,” Haaland said whilst showing off huge chunks of heart and liver from his butcher.
“I think eating quality food that is as local as possible is the most important.
“People say meat is bad for you but which? The meat you get at McDonald’s?
“Or the local cow-eating grass right over there? I eat the heart and the liver.”
Haaland went on to explain that he likes to buy his meat from local butchers and also claimed that he drinks water through a complicated filter system.
“The first thing I do in the morning is to get some sunlight in my eyes, it is good for circadian rhythm.
“I have also started to filtrate my water a bit. I think it can have great benefits for my body.”
Haaland, who claims to have 6,000 calories a day, also eats lasagne cooked by his dad, Alfie-Inge Haaland.
Haaland’s diet stuns “The Rock”
The Rock, who himself is well known for his hardcore diet and legendary workout routines, was still surprised by Haaland’s diet during an interview with talkSPORT.
The Rock said: “I do love my food… and if that’s working for him!
“He eats hearts and liver and a lasagne before every game, and he’s in amazing shape?”
After The Rock was informed that Haaland boasts an “amazing man-bun as well…”
“Ohhhh, man,” added the Rock. “He’s got it all going on!”
The Rock is said to have eaten up to seven protein-rich meals a day when he was preparing for his role in Hercules. His diet amounted to a whopping total of 4,131 calories.
